OASIS is in the process of developing an XML.org Focus Area on Security. This section will serve as a clearinghouse of information on news, standards, industry groups, vendors, products, events, and resources specific to XML and Security.

This year's programme will feature presentations from public sector experts
including Karel De Vriendt, Head of Unit of the European Commission
Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General and Mark D. Ferrar, Director of
Infrastructure, Technology Office of NHS Connecting for Health. Other
programme sessions will focus on Identity Management, SOA, Web Services in
